Key features of the program include:

  • All participants will place 2-3 implants at a minimum, and if the case dictates more, they will place the number necessary to complete the treatment plan for that patient
  • Highly qualified and trained instructors are engaged for the courses and they select and dictate the treatment plan for all patients
  • Two prosthodontists, two periodontists and one oral surgeon will be on site to assist the course instructor with all patients and be prepared to provide post surgical recalls for patients
  • All patients have full mouth x-rays, ct scans based on availability, and mandatory blood tests.
  • Patients are fully prepared beforehand by the appropriate staff in the periodontology and prosthodontics programs in the clinic where the courses are held.
  • Surgical stents are made by the postgraduate students, who also function as assistants, and pre-operative photos are taken of each patient
  • The curriculum includes lectures and didactic sessions for 3-4 days followed by the  2 day surgical portion of the course
  • Two clinical sites associated with universities in Mexico will be available with facilities and equipment that meet the highest standards for quality patient care
  • IDII assumes all liability for participants related to the course and the patients
  • IDII will help participants with travel and housing arrangements but all travel costs will be paid by the participants as an out of pocket expense not included in the course fee
